Who`s your Favourite Final Fantasy Game Pairings?

I can believe this isn't done yet!! lol but I don't want just one I want all the games you have played parings!
and please no arguments about Clerith and Cloifa or any other pairings for that matter

Final Fantasy II Maria and Firon
They are just so cute and I love how Maria dosent want the Female Pirate near him! and how i no its no canon but he chooses to stay with Maria!

Final Fantasy III Sara and Inugs
They obviously like each other and Sara really worries and cares for him!

Final Fantasy IV Edge and Rydia
They are so ment to be i love them in the second game they are so cute!! and I love the band Broken Heart i was like AWWW EDGEY!

Final Fantasy V Faris and Bartz
They are cute and Faris seems to understand him even the depressed side only she seems to see and also he does call her Beautiful aww!

Final Fantasy VI Celes and Locke
They are the best pairing ever! Celes is so in Love with him and I no he has a Broken Heart but he obviously in love with her to but his feelings for Rachel get in the way until he finally lets go I just love this pairing so much i love the little moments they have like at the Opera House and at the end.

Final Fantasy VII Cloud and Tifa
NOW NO BASHING!!
I just love this pairing so much i remember when was little i used to love them to! and they have so many moments together i wish they would admit there feelings for one another you can tell Tifa loves him with all her heart when she crys when hes not well and many other times i just love them.

Final Fantasy VIII Selphie and Invine
I actually like this pairing one of the few things of FF8 i liked the Childhood crush Invine had on her was so cute! and i love how she wears his hat at the end ahh i love them!!

Final Fantasy IX Zidane and Garnet
I just love how the relationship grows from a friendship to something more aww they are very cute.

Final Fantasy X Yuna and Tidus
They are perfect for each other and there story is so heart warming yet tragic i just think there one of those pairings you cant hate and them meeting in Dissidia 012 rekindled my love for them.

Final Fantasy XII Vaan and Penlope
They are cute.

Final Fantasy XIII Hope and Vanille
Despite the age difference i dunno i just like them!

I honestly don't care much about before VII; I don't know enough about those games to judge who'd be best with who.

Final Fantasy VII: Zack & Aerith
They really are just adorable together and kind of complete each other in a beautiful sort of way. Zack treats her with respect and dignity and they act like really good friends, which is the basis for a great relationship.

Final Fantasy VIII: Irvine & Selphie
I just...there aren't words. I adore them, hahah.

Final Fantasy IX: N/A
To be honest, I don't like any of the characters. So...*cough*

Final Fantasy X: Tidus & Yuna
They are perfect beyond perfect and perhaps the best canon couple to ever exist. They have something simple and sweet and beautiful and protective and perfect. They're my all-time ever OTP for everything.

Final Fantasy XII: Vaan & Ashe
Whatever, they really do suit each other. They share their own private moments, since both of them can see Rasler's spirit so clearly and nobody else can understand that. They can talk to each other, and while Vaan is kind of crazy sometimes, he gives Ashe that bit of fun that she really needs.

Final Fantasy XIII: Hope & Vanille
They're like best friends, and like I said with Z/A, that's the basis for a perfect relationship. Being the two youngest of the group, Vanille helps Hope break out of his shell and Hope keeps Vanille on the ground and stops her from getting too far away from reality. They get along so well, and begin the journey together.

I loved these two so it was natural for me to ship them together haha

Aurikku are my ultimate pairing...I don't care about the age difference because FF is always weird about ages...I mean Auron's 35 but looks 50? And Rikku does not look 15 to me. So I tend to make up my own ages xD

FF12 - BaschxPenelo, BalthierxPenelo

Basch deserves love <3

FF13 - SnowxFang

I think they suit each other more than SerahxSnow, but that pairing is lovely too





So yeah, only one of these pairings are actually canon - WakkaxLu and that only happens in a sequel game lol...

Yaaay, this looks like fun! Like Thalia, i have a tendancy to like couples that aren't particularly canon - but then there are a few canon pairings that are amoung my favourites. Only doing it for ones I know alot about. Okay!



Final Fantasy IV: Kain and Rydia

Well, Kain is the smex, so yeah. And Rydia is really cool and mysterious, like him! I think they just look good together.



Final Fantasy VII: Cloud and Aerith

These guys. Ahh. I've just loved them from the beggining (when i first played KH i thought, 'hey these guys look cute, they should have their own game' lol xD before i knew about ff), i think they compliment eachother's character's beautifully. I've always felt a connection to Aerith. I don't know what it is, but I see so much of myself in her and well if she's me then, why wouldn't I want to be paired with Cloud? ;)



Final Fantasy VIII: Squall and Rinoa

I'm a sucker for the canon in this case. I just get warm fuzzy feeling when I think about final fantasy viii, and these two are part of the reason. Rinoa, determined and energetic, Squall, serious and anti-social. They just fill in eachother's gaps.


Final Fantasy X: Tidus & Yuna
FFX was the first final fantasy I ever played, and the characters reached me like nothing I'd ever experienced. Tidus, a free-spirit, agressive and excited. Yuna, determined and courageous. I think Tidus really adds an element of feminity to Yuna, who until they get a bit closer, was more duty-bound and serious. And of-course, Yuna helps Tidus to slow down and take everything in, she helps him mature from a boy into a young man. :')


Final Fantasy XII: Bathier and Fran?

Well I never fininshed XII, i kind lost patience with it and decided to play some of the older PS1 titles instead. But Balthier and Fran stood out to me. They were very interesting characters that commanded attention with their presence, and you can tell they trust eachother completely.


Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning & _______

I don't know, but i'm really hoping in XIII-2 lightning get's a really hot kick-ass man. I mean, she deserves a little romance after all that ass kicking she does. And i'd like to see that side to her character. FFXIII definately wasn't my fav - many of the characters i found weren't as relatable as in previous games. Lightning and maybe Sazh were the only characters I liked much. Whereas in previous games I found myself loving the group (like VIII and X) I felt these guys were kind of weak characters - and the endless arguments and indecicivness put me off even more.

Rachel: I never really understood why Auron/Rikku was so popular. What's the attraction? They never spend any time together except when they both opt to sit outside of the Farplane, so I didn't understand what even sparked the fandom for them, hahah.

However, I was also an avid Baltheir/Penelo fan for awhile in the beginning. And then...well, Larsa came along and he was just too adorable. I just loved them. <3

Annabel: STICK OUT THE GAME TO THE END! Well, I mean, I'm a hypocrite, because I've been stuck on the same boss for like, a year, but Baltheir and Fran share the sweetest moment EVER and it makes every shippers heart squeal with joy.

I'm going to leave out the games I haven't played yet, vii included, because I don't care about that one.

FFVIII - Rinoa & Squall. Now that's character development.

X - Yuna & Tidus.
X-2 - This game introduced Rikku & Gippal as a pairing, which I found adorable.

XII - Ashe & Rasler of course. I also like Fran & Balthier, platonic or no. They work really well both ways, personally.

For the most part, I love canon. Why change something that's already great?

Thalia - well at first they were just my fave characters, and I naturally tend to pair my faves up, but throughout the game they have these cute little moments. Obviously only someone who likes the pairing would see them as cute, I think most other people see them as they were intended - the older guardian and the newest one but ahh I don't know, I just find them lovely. They do spend a little more time together than just the Farplane, but then as a fan of them I do look for all the little moments when I guess someone who wasn't a fan wouldn't haha.



On another note -

VaanxAshe and AshexRasler have been mentioned as well as ZackxAerith and I like these pairings too, they seem to compliment each other well.

@Thalia - Sorry, I already sold it. *hands you gun to shoot me with* I sold alot of my old PS2 games to get enough money to by a PS3. But I just wasn't getting into it like I did the others :/ And I can my self a true FF fan *grabs gun off you and shoots self*



But hey HEEEY. I forgot to mention my absolute favoruite new pairing of all time!



Final Fantasy Versus XIII - Noctis and Stella

I mean, I know the game hasn't come out yet, but i've never been so taken with a pairing. It even eclipses my love of Cloud x Aeris. They just look so amazing together, and so real. I just love them.



I think this game will be miles better than XIII which I was very dissapointed in, mainly because of the characters. But everything (although I can't be sure yet of course) looks absolutely perfect. If my expectations are met, i'm sure it will be one of my favoruite games. Everything, the setting, characters (especially Noctis, the new number 1 on my top 10 hottest ff guys list, sorry squally <3) are perfect and feels like classic final fantasy in the making. I can see this becoming an instant classic and a reassurance to those who were begining to doubt square (i was a bit, after xiii).

I totally forgot about Gippal and Rikku! They really were amazing; I found myself waiting for Gippal to show up so he could have a funny interaction with Rikku. For some reason, I always found myself drawn to Baralai and Paine, but I really couldn't tell you why!

Ahhh, Annabel, that's terrible! I got really lucky, because my parents gave me a PS3 for Christmas (well, Christmas and my birthday, since they're only a few days apart). But I've been a Final Fantasy girl since I was like, seven years old! I would never have been able to sell anything PS2 related, hahaha. To each their own, love. (:

I feel like Noel/Serah might grow on me. I'll have to getr XIII-2 to find out; but I really do like Snow. >> I'm in a war with myself, hahha.

Final Fantasy VII - MY OTP FACK (Zack/Tifa) & CloTi (Cloud/Tifa): There's something about Zack and Tifa being together that sends a nice warm sensation within me, i think if they had more than one meeting....and Tifa wasn't 14 XD then something would have hit off, IT WOULD HAVE HAD TO! CloTi is my close second though, and i mean...i have never considered Aerith more than a friend to Cloud...i just think between the two...there are too many complications. However i mean...CLOUD LIVES WITH TIFA ;D

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core - Fack & Clack (Cloud/Zack): This comes back to Fack once again haha XD and of course the smexy yaoiness ;D

Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus - Yuffie/Vincent: There's something about these two which is undeniably cute :3

Final Fantasy VIII - Squall/Rinoa & Zell/Squall: I just love Squall ;D But then i'm all for Canon pairing. Once again my yaoi love takes over, Zell/Squall is my guilty pleasure pairing haha :P

Final Fantasy X - Yuna/Tidus: I can't see anything more perfect than these two <3

Final Fantasy X-2 - Gippal/Rikku & Shuyin/Lenne: I love both of these pairings equally :)

Final Fantasy XII - Balthier/Fran & Ashe/Rasler: Once again, it's Canon love ah hah xP

Final Fantasy XIII - Hope/Vanille, Vanille/Fang & Snow/Serah: Hope and Vanille were the soul reason i played FF13....also Snow and Serah's story was just so beautiful. And Fang/Vanille is the ONLY yuri pairing i ship ;D

Final Fantasy XIII-2 - Noel/Serah: I can already tell i'm going to end up shipping this pairing xP

The Crossovers - Balthier/Kefka (a little obsession of mine thanks to a good friend and some RP'ing haha XD), Tifa/Noctis (it is the ONLY woman i can imagine Noctis to be with...there's something about Stella that i don't like), Squall [Leon]/Cloud (Another one of my guilty pleasures....allllll because of KH2 XD).

FFIV- Rydia & Edge
Do I have to explain this? Really?

FFVI- Locke & Terra
Ever since I started to play VI, I loved these two. Celes is an interesting character to, but I like Terra more for some reason o_O

FFVII- Cloud & Tifa
Please don't bash me, I like this one because Tifa and Cloud seem to be able to help each other out with their issues and move on. Enough said

FFVIII- Squall & Quistis, Ellone & Zell
The first pairing could be fueled by my dislike for Rinoa, the second pairing I don't have an explanation for o_O

FFIX- Garnet & Kuja
DON'T HURT ME! I actually like this pairing because he's a villain with a lot of class, perfect for a princess. Haha.

FFX- Yuna & Gippal
Gippal is kickass and Yuna needs someone like him to bring her out of her shell. That and I don't like Tidus, he just seemed very whiny to me. No offense to anyone who likes him, just a personal opinion

FFXII- Ashe & Baltheir
Sky pirate and the princess. In honesty and I never really liked a lot of the other characters in this game so since these two are my favorites...

FFXIII- Vanille & Hope, Serah & Snow
The first pairing is understandable, she does help him through a lot and they have chemistry despite the HUGE age difference. As for the second pairing, I really like the dedication between the two to protect the other.

Crossover- Yuna & Noctis, Lightning & Squall, Tifa & Noctis, Stella & Irvine, Yuna & Weiss (Weiss never gets love so I stuck him in a hatemance with my favorite female character.)

Zack/Vanille is just personal to me. They represent two characters in something I'm writing, and eventually the pairing itself just stuck with me.

Tidus/Vanille was just...they get along so incredibly well. In a world where Yuna doesn't exist, Tidus would end up with Vanille.

Zack/Yuna is another personal for me. The guy I like reminds me of Zack, and I always use Yuna to represent myself.

Squall/Aerith there just...there aren't words. After Kingdom Hearts, and how much time they spend together, they really would be just perfect. <3
