What is your favourite Final Fantasy Soundtrack?

I think Final Fantasy has amazing music so out of all the games which ones do you think have the best music? ^_^

i juts love the music from final fantasy viii, so mysterious but beautiful at the same time. my second vote would go to x :)

FFX is my favorite. But X-2 is a close tie. XD

I'd say either IV or VII has the best music. VII's music is just so memorable and absolutely epic

My favourite soundtrack is by FFX, but FFXII has really good songs either, and the intro song of FFX-2 is pretty special for me.

8 holds so many memories for me, and is so beautiful :)

Gosh. I have collected every soundtrack since VII [working on getting them all] and it's really hard for me to choose. I adore them all. ;-;

I really love IX and X's, though. They truly hold special memories for me and sometimes I find myself teary listening to them. :'D They are all masterpieces.

I love the OST of FFIX, FFX, FFX-2 and FFXIII! :)

There are so many gorgeous songs in them.

But I think that any music from Final Fantasy is a piece of art anyways!

I almost checked all the FF's on that poll. o.o

It's so hard to choose one! Each FF has a unique soundtrack, and connects a special feeling with each. I love all the soundtracks! Even if the game is trash *COUGHSFFXIII* the OST is still stunning as ever! xOO

But if I had to choose my top three (in no order since it's hard enough)

FFIV <-------------AMAZING. TwT Just plain amazing. One of its charms is the world map theme, which in my opinion IS the best world map theme! xD
FFX <-------------Its music brings you to their world and sends nostalgia. *w*
FFXIII-XII <---------Tie, but both have a huge quantity of extraordinary music. FFXII music is extremely under appreciated as well has the most magical feel in my opinion. And I'm crazy over FFXIII's music. xD mohoho.


But every FF OST is amazing, yes indeedy.

I feel okay when i listen expecially to FF X and X-2, and i like very much "Reunion Tracks" and Dissidia =)

and i wish "Anxious heart" was a little bit longer on Reunion T_T

I love the FFXIII soundtrack, eventhough FFX is almost as good. The mixture from techno and orchestra are stunning and the battle theme is the best yet!

FFX-2 and XIII are my least favorite FF games but they have the best soundtracks imo. Dissidia has also a great OST, I love some of the arranged versions~

Final Fantasy VII for me, the soundtrack is so nostalgic~

Final Fantasy VII for me <3 It was our first game and first FF I played. The music brings back good memories :)

But I find all of Final Fantasy' music beautiful.

FFVII have the best OST :D

I love the soundtrack to Final Fantasy IX because it was the first game I ever played, so it's very special to me ^^ <3

I like the soundtracks from IX and X best, the music is so beautiful however I like the soundtracks to all the other Final Fantasy games which I have played Nobuo Uematstu is just plain legend!
My favourite tracks are You're Not Alone (FFIX) and People of the North Pole (FFX)

FFVI & FFXIII-2.

Any soundtrack before XIII were nostalgic for me, but my favorite is probably X. A second choice is either IX or X-2.
