The best way to not get any Lagging in Previews in Sony Vegas.
This only works for Sony Vegas.
I got this from a youtube video.
This is really good if your video is long.
Now Follow these steps Carefully.
1. Highlight a certain part of your video. Up to 15 Secs.
2. then press Shift + B.
3. now wait a few seconds.
when the highlighted part of your video, lights up,
press play.
it shouldn't lag then. :D

Thanks, Danny! I'm working on an effects video, and this is a huge help.

Oh, is that like a way to pre-render a section, so the program can run it better? Ive always wondered if SV had that option. Other video editing programs require you to pre-render if you ever want to playback your video in the timeline. I shall try this out too! Thanks :)

Yeah, I have to press Shift + B as well. Or at least that's what I've been using so far. Hmm, I'm going to have to use Ctrl + B and see what that does.

random, possibly foolish question, but does this save the section somewhere on your computer? or does it just speed it up some magical way haha
thank you for the tip by the way :) I've found it extremely helpful :D
