Sony Vegas 9 - Needed tutorial or tricks to work with text
Hiya everyone! I need you help!
I'm making a video and text it's an important part of it, since it helps me to tell the story. But it seems like I'm terrible with texts! ;____; I know the basics, of course, but I want you guys to help me to make my texts look more... beautiful and professional! =D Any tutorials? Any tricks? n_n'
Thank you very much!

Re: Sony Vegas 9 - Needed tutorial or tricks to work with text
Hmmm well when i use text i tend to go for something that fits the videos music. For example, if i was making a trailer and was use quite a basic text (e.g. Times New Roman) i would also make the text quite small, not so tiny no one can see it, about 28 or 36 :)
I rarely use outlines unless for example, white text is on a white BG, but then i tend to use shadowing instead as i personally think it looks neater.
Sometimes giving a blur effect to the text makes it feel more atmospheric (Using Gaussian Blur), try setting it to about 5 ish so that the text is still readable yet has some sort of ghostly feel to it.
Try moving the text also, not to fast however unless you are doing a video in which is pace is quite quick. Move your text according to the video, usually text is moved horizontally to give a motion effect. Also continuing this, add a fade at the beginning and end, or replace one of the fades with a transition of sorts.
I hope i've helped a little ^w^

Aaaaawww thanks hunny! <3333 You've helped a lot! With Gaussian Blur it looks great, it's so cool, and I've tried shadowing the text instead of using an outline, and it looks awesome! :D
Thank you so much! <333
