Oh Lord, I just imagined his response to that. *dies* But yeah, it's not as "zomg I think I just got diabetes" sweet as, say, Alistair or Leliana's romances, but it's pretty touching once he starts to genuinely fall in love with your character. Or maybe I just love "ladykiller in love" type stories, ahahaha (which I do). XD

Also, I forgot to mention that Sten may be my favorite character in that game. Love that qunari and his bizarre cookie obsession.

lmfaoooo I DIED laughing when Sten said that. It made it worth keeping his emo dialogue-less self around for the entire journey.

BWAHAHAHAHA YES! That, and him bribing the guard outside the mage's tower with cookies. That he stole from a fat child. I laughed so hard I almost wet my pants. IMO Sten is the funniest character in the game. I think it's the completely deadpan delivery of his lines (Mark Hildreth <3).

xD Aww I didn't have him in my party when I went to the tower, I left him at camp... I left him at camp most of the time, because I wanted good relationship with him, and if I ever brought him he would disagree with my choices and then lose SO much like-points.

Yeah, he always seems to either massively approve or massively disapprove. No middle ground, haha. Morrigan was the one I pretty much always left at camp, because I tend to play nice-ish characters and it was the only way to keep from completely hating them. XD Although I do bring her along sometimes to listen to her and Alistair argue. Because that never gets old...I'm so mean sometimes. lol

Alistaiiir!!!! Absolutely favorite character - granted I've just started, but still! He makes me laugh (yeah I was watching a few vids on YT. Shoot me) and inspired a few characters of my own.

The graphics were terrible though - but the game itself is pretty epic.

Personally I like Zevren, then again I seem to have a thing for assassins *Cough Ezio Cough*

The graphics are ok compared to others. Personally I just want more hair choices. I want Morrigan's hair for my character dammit! But I have it for the 360 so I can't get a mod or anything.>_<

Dragon Age is the best roleplay of 2010 in my opinion. It is really impressive. <3

My fav party was me - Alistair (as a tank) and the two mages Morrigan and Wynne.

Oh i played that game too, twice ;)

I used to be an elvish mage, and my team was including almost always Alistair, Leliana, and the last member was Zevran or Ogrhen, i think they're both funny as hell, but no one beats Alistair and his shyness XD

, He's my new Alistair(<3) and, in this story, we meet Alistair for sure for a moment and in the end Leliana appears for about 5 seconds.
But the best character of all is Varric X°D

Ps: for the ones who will get it, pay attention to Fenris's voice and tell me if it reminds you a sexy character we ALL know for sure

Hahaha I did the same thing, I saw "Sten" And I turned to my sister and she pointed out that the sten have horns, Sten doesn't. I felt stupid

I did this quest called "A Murder of Crows" that you get in the Red Lantern District in Hightown during the 3rd act. His quest is really tough though, when you go tracking him you should bring a rogue, lots of traps o_O

I'm on my third playthrough of Dragon Age 2, haha. Varric is the bestest dwarf EVER, and I really wish there was a "punch the SOB" option for Anders at the end. :canny:

Also, I love BioWare for making Fenris a love interest (homg that voice *swoons*), and making rivals romanceable. Snarky!Hawke/Fenris rivalry romance may be my new favorite Dragon Age pairing.

I suppose there may be spoilers in my comment for Origins ^^ I'm not sure how to make a spoiler post? I think I've done it right...

I'm interested to see everyones decisions for this ^^ I just got it a few weeks ago and I am....obsessed.... I plan to get 2 eventually but at the moment I'm still hooked on Origins. I have all the dlc so I'm going through it slowly while replaying the original game (making different decisions etc.) but it's interesting to see everyones decisions for the game!

Why am I noticing this topic so late? T.T
I'm a major DA fan after all. Picking a favorite character is hard enough though, I love Alistair and Zevran equally. I liked Morrigan as well, up until the point where my boyfriend told me I remind him of her. ME? Dx
Anyways, I've played the game through 3 times. My first character was a human female rogue, makes me wonder why I didn't try out mage first O.O But I still remember my first playthrough. I was obsessed! Even when I wasn't playing the game I was thinking about it...<3 By far one of the best games out there.

Ohmygosh. I started playing Dragon Age Origins last week and beat it today. Although I'm going back to check out the different endings with my Alistair! Dragon Age: Origins - Page 2 58481

I was completely obsessed with DA: O . ><' Played all day and night. xD It's by far the be RPG I've ever played. Althought, just playing it reminded me how people were addicted to WOW. xDI have no problem picking my favourite character, it's Alistair. ;o He's funny, cute, and his awkwardness is just hilarious. xD A lot of people seem to like Zev though, I never got him since I killed him when I was given the option. I guess I'm missing out on him? x3

Oh my gosh you are definitely missing out! Of course, I may be biased because I <3 Zev. His romance is probably my favorite of Origins, especially with how oddly sweet it becomes towards the end. And then tragic if you're me and did the "heroic sacrifice" ending with your Warden who was in love with him (I cried when I read that epilogue, no joke).

Also, has anyone else played through Witch Hunt? I finally got it a little while back and ugh, now I seriously can't wait to see where BioWare takes this series. That dlc was definitely a lead in to...something.

Zev's romance is lovely, you can even encourage him to propose if you go to a little extra effort with the conversations. So if you ever reply at least recruit him as his banter is really fun and he is quite complex.
I got Witch Hunt! I think with what Flemeth says in DA2 and her 'reincarnation' I think it's definitely setting up something later along the line with them and perhaps even to do with what Anders does. Naughty Anders...haha
I was kinda dissapointed though with the end of Witch Hunt because it was like "Hi Warden, Bye Warden!" and then all the unanswered questions T_T

Oh man, it's so much fun to watch him get all cute and kinda awkward when he offers the Warden the earring. XD And for extra laughs, send Zevran and Ohgren to the rescue in Fort Drakon. I almost fell out of my chair the first time I did that.

Yeah, the end of Witch Hunt was amazingly vague, in a cliff hanger-y way. I have to wonder if they're setting something up for Sandal later on too, what with his creepy, creepy random prophecy-esque dialogue in DA2. Or maybe BioWare just likes to be randomly creepy.

"You don't want the earring, you don't get the earring!" haha I love how he gets mad when you refuse his present and says how you pick everything else you find up...it's true haha I had so many darkspawn bows, elfroots, rugs, corpse gall (ew) etc but not the earring xD

They must be planning *something* at least, I mean so much vagueness must mean something xD xD And Sandal randomly being around tons of dead things is also pretty weird - I read somewhere a theory he could be the first mage dwarf, which is interesting, but I don't know. Something is deeeefinitely going on with the mageys though hahah

I watched a video two days ago and discovered that Alistair woud be in DA 2 but this time as an NPC. x.x' Although, I don't know if that was a modded game video I seen or .. But neither the less I was estatic to see Alistair again 8D
