Render issue.
UPDATE: Awwyiss I think I solved it! I unchecked the Soft Contrast fx and now it's rendering the whole thing, looks like!
So I nearly always have troubles when I render my vids as Vegas often crashes (as in the rendering process freezes), most probably because I'm using a not-too-advanced-laptop and it doesn't really like Vegas.
More to the point I finished editing a picture vid yesterday and I've been trying to render it for non-stop now and I don't know why but Vegas seems particularly determined in sabotaging things for me this time. I've tried rendering the video in parts, even different formats but neither have worked as the render freezes each time I reach a particular transition (and yes I've tried changing this transition too).
Frustrating as hell tbh. I don't know what to do and I don't want to change the format to a really low quality one. I'll keep trying to fix this but it'd be great to get some input from you guys.

Re: Render issue.
Seems I spoke too fast.
I still haven't been able to render it and it's been like what, over one week now. It's ridiculous, and yesterday it even froze when I was rendering a 19sec video, and it was really simple... :/ I tried shutting off the GPU but for some reason that messes up the quality of the video completely, it gets totally distorted. I'm so sick of this and it seems like I've tried everything.
Ideas, anyone?

Re: Render issue.
Whenever my vegas refuses to render - its generally because theres a corrupted file somewhere in the timline. Have you tried opening your project and then opening a new window in vegas and copy+pasting everything from the projects window to the new window and re-render?
That usually works for me :) let me know if it worked

Re: Render issue.
Have you tried rendering it in parts? And then putting the rendered sections together and rendering it all out like that?
Re: Render issue.
That is usually my last resort but sometimes even that doesn't help, however yesterday I rediscovered an absurd, random method I've used before, and that is to first render the project in a different format, like I used a really low quality .mov format first, and then I switched back to my normal render format and voilà, suddenly it was okay for Vegas to render it. O_o At least a portion of it.
