I'm sort of loving it so far, but it does have me on edge. I keep hearing noises around my house---which are probably my cat---but they're freaking me freaking out! XD

Anyways, anyone else playing it right now? Thoughts? Opinions? Anyone else feel like it took a hell of a lot of inspiration from Alan Wake?

OMG YES!
It does play a lot like Alan Wake, but tbh Alan Wake wasn't 100% original either >_>
But i do like the game so far!

It's hard to find original games anymore, but man, sometimes I forgot I was playing Silent Hill and really thought I was playing Alan Wake, hahaha! But in the end, I think SH:Downpour was good. Not scary... but entertaining. :3
