Book Recommendations
If you have any recommendations for your favorite books, list them here!
I just opened my own review blog and I need some new ideas of stuff to read. (: I'd love to see what's out there!

Re: Book Recommendations
This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but this list holds a number of books I would recommend.
http://500daysofkissingmypillow.tumblr.com/tagged/Book+Review
-There's also the Eragon series by Christoper Paloni. The first book has a number of grammatical errors, but they are all but gone by the second book.
-Any of the 'Dragon Riders of Pern' book, namely the Harper hall arc with Menoly.
-Nothing Rhymes with April.
-It's not a book but the author Franz Kafka. You'll have to find translations of his work though, unless you can read German. Namely 'The Metamorphosis.'
-The Call of Cthulhu by Lovecraft.
-The art of Fiction by Gardner
-Digging to Australia
- Reading like a Writer by Prose.
- Watership Down
And then there's Harry Potter, which I don't think I need to put on a list.

Re: Book Recommendations
These are a MUST, i for one love reading and these are books are so hooking that i have read them many times over:
The Young Samurai Series by Chris Bradford
The House of Night Series by P.C Cast & Kristen Cast
The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks
The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan
I Am The Great Horse by Katherine Roberts
The Butterfly Lion by Michael Morpurgo
These are all throughly amazing and are definitely worth the time to check out :) Particularly the Young Samurai Series by Chris Bradford. Such a wonderful english author, i've met him in person and have his autograph in one of my books that i bought of his series. He writes not just from experience but from actual historical attributes and events. Although his books are fiction, some of the things in them are based on real life/people. I highly recommend you check this series out in particular. Excuse my rambling :P I am very passionate about this book series :)

Re: Book Recommendations
Thank you all! I added everything! (except House of Night; I've been forbidden to read those ones by my parents, hahaha).
Re: Book Recommendations
I'm not really into reading at all but I did really like these books,
Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo
Noughts And Crosses series by Malorie Blackman

Re: Book Recommendations
I'd highly suggest the ongoing series: A Song of Ice and Fire by author George R.R. Martin.
I've just finished A Game of Thrones and I'm now racing my way through the second book, A Clash of Kings. Its written very well and Character driven.

Re: Book Recommendations
Thanks, guys! I've heard nothing but woderful things about Delirium. I'm dying to get my hands on it! And the rest sound really interesting, too!
Re: Book Recommendations
Seconding A Song of Ice and Fire. I've only read A Game of Thrones so far, but it was pretty amazing. Also, anything by C.S. Lewis (he's my favorite author lol). I'd especially recommend Til We Have Faces, it's a really interesting take on the story of Cupid and Psyche. Some other favorites of mine (omitting collections of Arthurian legends/fairy tales):
Prydain Chronicles and the Westmark trilogy - Lloyd Alexander
Byzantium - Stephen Lawhead (I'd recommend anything by Lawhead actually. He's my other favorite)
Abhorsen trilogy/Old Kingdom trilogy (I've heard it called both) - Garth Nix
any short story collection by Jane Yolen (Sister Emily's Lightship is probably my favorite)
Song of the Lioness (and any of the following Tortall series) - Tamora Pierce
A Natural History of Unicorns - Chris Lavers (non-fiction...seriously.I'm such a nerd)
