A.R.C. - Updated Weekly, every Wednesday[/center]
When a biological attack hits the United States in 2012, humanity is pushed to it’s limits to adapt. Victims become gripped by a severe allergic reaction to water. A new city is established—the Aquagenic-Mortis Rehabilitation City (A.R.C.)—to contain and protect the infected. Nearly forty years later, people begin to disappear. A.R.C.-born citizens and possible carriers of an evolving strand of DNA could be the cure to end the disease. People like Noah. Now it’s up to him, one of few immune to the disease, to find out the truth behind A.R.C. and the dark web of scandals that serve as its foundation.

Re: "A.R.C." -- an Online Fiction Webseries by Spazzlings
On my day off, I decided to take some time to finally read these chapters and I have to say, that I didn't look away from my desktop once when I read it. I started with making myself a cup of tea and just sat there and read.
The first thing I want to point out, the concept. I find it unique. At first I thought when I read the description on here I was going to expect some sort of zombie like story, but I knew it was something else.
I think the one thing that has really attached to me in the story is the character of Noah. In the first chapter through to the chapter you recently have up, I have seen him develop and grow. And this is what I really like about characters, when they grow. And I believe you have managed to make him grow very well, and I really really like his character. I'm going to watch and see when you release the other chapters, because I feel attached to the story because I am attached to Noah.
The way you write is very comfortable for me to read, and I can see the emotion in the story. It's very deep and emotional, and right now I'm finding it difficult to find the right words and the right things to use as examples, because I believe each chapter is a work of art in itself. I'll probably end up leaving another post when I read the next upcoming chapter with maybe a better explanation and point out things I really like. But I hope this is enough for you to know that I am enjoying it so far and I am willing to be a frequent reader.

:drunken: :affraid: THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH MONKEY EMOTICONS TO EXPRESS HOW EXCITED I AM! :!: :D
Seriously, I'm so happy you have enjoyed it up to this point and that you like Noah's character!!!! I don't even have the words to properly express how excited I am (nor the finger capacity... >.> I just burned one of my fingers and it can't bend now...-headdesk-).
Oh I'm so happy, and I sincerely hope you continue to read and enjoy future chapters, too. Thank you so much!!! <3

Oh! I didn't expect such a reaction! xD I tend to really grow attached to characters like Noah, which is why I feel good about reading more. I will make sure I keep updated and to give my thoughts and opinions throughout - and maybe in a bit more detail than my last post. I visit IVI regularly anyway, so I think I'll be up to date with new chapters!
Re: "A.R.C." -- an Online Fiction Webseries by Spazzlings
Woow, this is really good! I really like the concept of the water and what-not. Very original. I usually don't read things online (I'm more of a go to the bookstore, pick a random book and read it through a period of time kinda girl) But You've really got me hooked (:
I was Reading Tifa's comments which inspired me to make a cup of tea and read through as well. It was a very good way to start my morning. I do like the character's a lot, especially L’ouppole and Vienna. I like Noah as well, but I'm waiting to see how he develops before I can really tell if I love him or not xD
I'm not much of a writer (the creative writing class I'm taking is the biggest joke ever) so I really don't think I am capable of giving constructive criticism, but I rather read this then a book like Twilight any day (:

@xMoji - Aw, thank you so much! I'm so glad you are enjoying it so far! I know that a lot of people prefer books to reading on the internet, which is what originally made me so nervous about posting "A.R.C." online, but hopefully it'll one day be published and physical! I'm so grateful, though, because slowly people are starting to read it. Which is just so encouraging. :)
Thank you again! I really hope that you continue to enjoy future chapters! <3 -glomp-

Re: "A.R.C." -- an Online Fiction Webseries by Spazzlings
Oh dear, I have been so busy with coursework that I've only just managed to catch up with Chapter 7! I apologize for that!
(I am also following the facebook page too btw ;D)
First things first, I saw the new illustrations on the facebook page and they are beautiful. They are well done and I think they suit the whole feel of the story as a whole.
"Toward the north of the district, the lights of the First District cast a
dull, humming glow against the large, glass dome that surrounded it. It
stood out like a glossy bubble in the distance, huge and towering."
This sent a shiver down my spine, but I imagined this place just like how the cities are made up in Ergo Proxy, which is also a very dark story full of hidden meanings.
I felt bad for Noah when he turned the corner whilst running after Joseph, It's as if I could feel that ankle of his just snapping. Poor guy, but he's such a strong character, which is why I'm liking him a lot right now. Aswell as his quite humourous side-comments. The entire chase scene was very fast, just like it would be if you were watching this as a movie, the attention to detail really inspires me. And again I felt that pain Noah was going to experience when he had to jump over the garbage can - your so mean to him~
And even though Curt is not on good terms with Noah, I like his character fufu~
I'm liking where the plot is going. The loss of Sandy and the emotional impact it is having is well relayed. I am still going to continue reading of course during the times when I don't want to do any work - shot -
But just to let you know, this story is going well and you have a fan!

For anyone interested, a friend of mine has been doing some commissions for me and making SUPER AWESOME ILLUSTRATIONS of Noah from "ARC". TAKE A LOOK. 'cause they're awesome.
These illustrations were done by Erin Watson. Check out her awesome portfolio by clicking here.
The first illustration will be appearing as the companion picture to Chapter 8 which is coming out this Wednesday! Stay tuned!

Hey Guys,
So ARC has just changed locations! It can now be found at its very own webpage, www.arc2012.weebly.com!
At this new location, you will be able to find all the same things you could before and more!
At the moment, the website is still under construction. Feel free to visit it at any time, all of the chapters are currently up, but the extra features are still being sorted through and fixed up. Because of this, the next chapter will most likely be postponed to next week (04.04.12) but I figure it’s for a good and exciting cause! I hope to see you all there!!!

I'm so sorry for the delay this week, guys! I got a new job, had to do a bit of relocating, and then got lost. ALL. THE. TIME. Plus rush hour, so no fun, haha! But the chapter is finally up! You can read it here: Chapter 15

I'm a complete derp and forgot to post the update on here! D:
BIG NEWS, GUYS!
1.) Chapter 17 is up! Finally, right? :) I’m really sorry for the two week delay, my friends. Between SYTYCV, graduations, and other things, I’ve had more trouble than I’d like to admit with keeping up. BUT the schedule is lightening up in the future, so hu-zaah! Next week should be updating on time! READ CHAPTER 17 BY CLICKING HERE — http://arc2012.weebly.com/most-recent-chapter.html
2. YOU CAN NOW FOLLOW ARC ON TWITTER! Our favorite private detective, Mr. John L’ouppole, has kindly decided to be the host of ARC’s Twitter account (mainly because ARC, ARC2012, and NoahsARC were all taken! O.o ) You can follow it here —https://twitter.com/#!/Louppole
This will provide you with immediate updates, bonus material, and allow you to ask the characters questions, if you’d like. ;)
