Forever Watchful

I wish to dedicate this to someone close to me, who i hope to see again one day, further on into the future.

Forever Watchful

The body was fragile and ill
Many loved ones sat in wait
As distant voices echoed through the white walls

Hearts grew heavy
And tears were shed
As they said their last goodbyes to their dying friend

She lay barely concious
Holding tight to the hand that held her own
Her eyes flickering as her life drifted away

The grip on the girls hand faded slowly
As her eyes closed and her soul left.
Her spirt being carried in strong gentle arms

The girl beside her hid tears
As she saw a smile stay on the others lips
A smile that reminded her thats she'd never be alone.
