The Hidden Chapter

I was speaking with 11tiggers last night on MSN about her amazing fanfic she has been writing here (Which I hope people have read -roar-) and it came to my head that maybe I should hunt around for some of my old fanfics and I managed to salvage this introduction I found - and suddenly I have the urge to write more. Its easy to guess what character it is, but, I remember the idea I had for this story and it was joint with a video I have in the making which I haven't went back to for a while. I feel like doing so now. Enjoy!

I could only remember glimpses of what happened. I don't even remember how long ago these things happened, but I could still feel the warmth on my skin with their presence. Golden locks blurred across my mind, her eyes, I couldn't recall the colour. When they closed I remember falling through streams of lifestream, trying to catch the air as a plummeted to somewhere I did not know. Then I awoke, finding myself in a field. A field where my house once stood with the Banora tree standing proud behind me. The air tasted both sweet and fresh, the puppy ranked before me grasping a dumbapple. Thoughts and memories flooded my soul once again, glimpses of a helicopter and then -
A deep throbbing pain.
Introduction
It was as his own mind had a heartbeat. A heart attack in his own brain as it pounded against the walls of his skull. Auburn hair swept diagonally across his eyes, but they were still closed. Unaware of what just happened moments before Zack left him by that tree in somewhere so familiar, so picturesque. His hands curled into fists, the side of them feeling the cold, brutal metal which he lay upon. He made the effort to move his eyelids, flickering against the beaming light which shone down on him as if heaven had opened its gates for his arrival. He didn't know if he were dead or if he was just very ill. Only blurs could be seen. Black and white blurs which danced in front of his mako blue eyes as he rolled his head from side to side, trying to gaze around whatever room he was in. With no dominion, he raised himself up, his back now upright. This action just made the blurs turn into blobs and the throbbing pain to just beat faster. He raised his palm, planting it on his forehead as a grumbled sound emanated from his lips. As the blobs morphed back into blurs, they soon dissolved into a clear, tolerable image. He noticed the speckles of blood which dotted the silver, steel table he was laid upon. His SOLDIER attire was still torn and battered from when he fought Zack back at the caverns. From noticing he still hadn't changed, the stinging pain of the injuries he had received began to arise. But he couldn't complain now, he had to find out where he was.
His head peeped up after a few moments of staring down at the steel. A medical room? There was that same, cliche white colour everywhere in the room. A sink at the far end leaved in pill bottles and instruments of a doctor. But this idea of a doctor turned into a scientist when he noticed the constant appearance of test tubes and the sort filled with liquids of vivid colour. He hated scientists. He swivelled himself round, pushing himself off the metal bed for his boots to meet the floor again. The clear image went blurry for a second as he rose onto his legs, stumbling forward before grabbing onto a nearby stand which held an empty packet of what seemed to have held blood. What he didn't realise, is that nearby stand he just trusted, had wheels. The stand moved by itself as his strong, tall body gripped it. He didn't have the control nor the balance to stop himself from tumbling towards the ground. With a thud he hit the ground, the image now celebrating with blurs. He mumbled to himself as he pushed himself off the ground to stand. Embarrassed by his sudden episode of panic.
After taking baby steps to what seemed to be a door, he had already established he wasn't in a hospital, but in fact a laboratory. He scoffed, placing his hand over a square indent in the clean wall which caused the door to shoot open with a hissing noise. It was there his heart stopped.

It was then I saw the red diamond placed on the wall I stood before. The sharp shapes, the letters. Scorched in my mind. Somehow, I was back in Shinra. An experiment again?

Chapter 1 - Deepground - Part 1
No. How did I get here? Why am I standing in a hall which looked so familiar. Where were the people? I thought Zack left me behind. I remembered sitting by the tree. Not here. Not here in this place I hate.

Genesis stared at the red diamond which was imprinted on the white, clean wall infront of him. His vision went blurry from the shock, or was it the hate? He took an idle step forward, closer to the symbol he so longed to burn. But he couldn't. He had a new meaning now, and that was to protect the planet. But not now. The planet already had its destined saviours for this time. His time, was another time. From stepping out on the corridor, the bright artificial light attacked his eyes causing him to stumble against the wall.
"Hey, you ok?" He heard a voice, it felt familiar but distant.
"What?"
"You heard me. Are you ok?" The voice floated again.
"Who's there?" Genesis looked over his shoulder, but there was no one. But the deep, husky voice circled around him once again but this time it was more clear.
"What are you doing here? Its dangerous. Do you know where here is?"
"Angeal..?" Genesis whispered, pushing himself off the wall to allow his eyes to wander around the narrow corridor he stood in "Angeal is that you?"
There was no reply however. Just the echoed sounds of his heels on the white tiled floor, which probably would have been heard by now if anyone was around. And thats what made him stop and think for a bit in his confused state. Where was everyone? He edged closer to the Shinra logo, but there was something wrong with it. It seemed scratched, dirty and worn away. Shinra wouldn't allow their name be so tampered with, they would have fixed the decoration problem straight away - let alone make it happen. There was something odd about the corridor, the place he was in. Was it even Shinra? There was this eerie smell. The smell of blood, the smell of dust as if it just burned off a radiator. And it was incredibly warm. So warm it was making him sweat.
"Where...where am I?" He muttered to himself, carrying his two tall legs down the corridor. He thought he was moving fast, but he was going at a pace which looked zombie like, petrified.
[I can't post up each chapter since mine are long so I'll post each chapter in parts X-x]
