Re: [solved]Crisis Core
The AVI files from silenttweak.net are encoded with XVID codec with MP3 audio. Vegas doesn't handle VBR MP3 audio at all so the way I see it is you've got a few choices:
1) Remove the audio from the video files using a program such as Format Factory (not guaranteed to work since XVID doesn't play nicely with Vegas anyway)
2) Convert the video to something more compatible with Vegas. I recommend UT Video: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Ut_Video_Codec_Suite
!!! Warning !!! UT Video produce very large video files - we're talking gigabytes - but you're almost guaranteed not to have any problems.
You'll need to install both the x64 and x86 UT Video codecs if you have a 64 bit system otherwise just install the x86 version.
You'll also need to download ALL of the following programs in order to convert it:
•VirtualDub: http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
•Avisynth: http://sourceforge.net/projects/avisynth2/
•FFmpegSource2 Plugin: http://ffmpegsource.googlecode.com/files/ffmpegsource-2.14-mt.7z
•AvsP: http://avisynth.org/qwerpoi/Download.html
1). Install relevant programs and codecs.
2). Make sure the FFMPEG Avisynth plugin is in the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\AviSynth 2.5\plugins (it's called FFMS2)
3). Open AvsP and type in the following:
If you need the audio as well, then type the following:
4). Open the Avisynth script you just created in VirtualDub by pressing the ► button
5). Go to Video and select Fast Recompress
6). Set up your compression options by selecting Video --> Compression and choose UT Video:
---- i). Select the YUV420 version
---- ii). Default options are fine but you can choose Optimize for compression ratio (Predict median) for a *slightly* smaller file
7). To convert, go to File --> Save as AVI

Note: you may need to extract & convert the audio into another format first such as AAC if you get errors
- Code:
v=FFVideoSource("C:\Video.avi")
a=FFAudioSource("C:\Video.avi")
AudioDub(v,a)

Re: [solved]Crisis Core
I've downloaded clips from silenttweak in the AVI format and I didn't have to go through all that configuration. They just worked fine straight off the spot.
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
Maybe it's the version of Vegas you have? Sometimes compatibility with certain codecs changes between versions.
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
Vegas 8.0 pro its ok though Rachelplum introduced me to this thing called youtube downloader and the clips work now
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
It'll be the way the clips are encoded on your clips. Vegas doesn't support all codecs and decides to cough certain clips back out - just to be a meanie.
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
I use Vegas 10 Pro and I also have this codec pack called Shark007 codecs. Maybe that may help?
Crisis Core scene [solved]
I'm looking for a particular scene in crisis core which I cannot find on bluelaguna. It's when Cloud gets wounded, and Tifa then supports hem back to the village, though she doesn't know it is him because he is still wearing his mask.\
I hope somebody can help me out, because I really need the scene :)

Exactly what I mean! I do have a youtube downloader, but the quality isn't really great so I was hoping someone could give me a direct link :)
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
Well I have the scene on my computer. I don't have it in better quality than this (Crisis Core 'in-game' scenes doesn't have much quality), but here it goes ^^

You're the best!
Re: [solved]Crisis Core
Curious, it has worked now. I know that "skip the ad" button. Last time it hasn't been there. This was a stupid page which appeared instead of advertisement or the download page.
Anyway - it worked. Thanks ^.^

Re: [solved]Crisis Core
Is there any chance to get them in good quali? When I zoom in Zacks face you can see ugly pixels ><
Crisis Core
I have Crisis Core AVI clips from Silent Tweak and Blue Laguna. Unfortunately, they almost never work in Sony Vegas for me. It's just a black screen when I drag the clips down to the track. I have tried several codecs and updated my DIVX. Nothing has worked. They play fine in the trimmer so I don't understand what the problem is.
Does anyone have a solution or clips uploaded to megaupload or something? Please??
