Photoshop Elements: Color Fill
Hey guys, I recently came across a problem. I remember before going on my vacation I learned how to fill renders with a solid color. HOWEVER It's been like two weeks and I don't remember. I have photoshop elements 6, so I was wondering if you can help me. And if you don't know what I mean by Color fill then look at the picture below. I've done it before, but my memory fails. So please help.
Re: Photoshop Elements: Color Fill
What I do to gain that effect is I take a single color layer (or gradient; whatever you want), place it directly above the image you want filled. Then when you press "alt" and drag your mouse on the space right between the layers (your mouse should turn into a little circle), it'll attach the color to the image, and only colorfill inside the lines of the image.

Re: Photoshop Elements: Color Fill
Welcome! I remember a time when I wanted to learn how to do it myself, and ended up just trying to paint veryyyyy carefully on the image with the color I wanted. @_@ But when I was having one of my experiment days, just messing around in PSE, I figured out how to do this. <3 It's always nice to find other people who use Photoshop Elements!
Re: Photoshop Elements: Color Fill
I had one of those days not so long ago and realized that when you use "dark red" and put it in "Lighten" It makes Dark spots in pictures look pretty. :D
Thanks again! Your a total lifesaver. :D
