CloudxTifa.

Okay before i start XD please don't bash me on this :3 and don't misunderstand, i am not bashing CloudxAerith either.

Okay so all you CloTi fans out there and Claerith fans have always been wondering whether Aerith loves Cloud or Cloud loves Tifa. Well it's been made official that Cloud declared his feelings to Tifa the night they spent under the Highwind hugging, in FF7. However this was noted to have taken place AFTER Aerith's death, before then Cloud did infact have feelings for Aerith, so it is clear to say, there must have been SOMETHING there for that flower girl ;3

As i have been a CloTi supporter for as long as i can remember (4), i just wanted to let all those fans know that the friendship between Cloud and Tifa is a friendship NO MORE 8D I always thought....infact thought i knew that Cloud and Tifa had a strong friendship, i always doubted love was there because, to be honest despite my constant love for the pairing, i always thought Cloud has feelings for Aerith, WHICH HE DID, but then it seemed to double over to Tifa.

Going through all this makes me feel slightly, i don't know, disappointed in ACC for SE not trying to portray the friendship a little better....well....i guess they did O-o XD but like i said at the beginning i'm not here to bash ones opinion on a pairing i'm just saying i am happy that CloTi has come out of the blue and been deemed official. Claerith aupporters....don't ever stop being Claerith supporters ;D Because there was love there, and i think if Aerith lived....there coulda been something much more ^w^ and here's me a CloTi fan saying that XD Anyways, i hope nobody takes this too seriously or whatnot o.o i don't wanna have to rant with nobody xP OH! and here's the link to my source:

Cloud loves Aerith (;D), I just don't have time to write down a detailed post about why I think this statement cannot be of this type obvious as they "translated" it on thelifestream. Maybe I'm gonna do that later...^^

I just only see Cloud and Aerith as friends, as i assume you see Cloud and Tifa as friends ^^ anyways i don't want to have to rant or whatnot xP

But I'm not sure if I should say what it is on here because it might raise a big debate. Unless anyone is really interested to know..? But this is for Clerith..not Cloti >.>

But anyway, after hearing this, I was more of a CloTi supporter, but now...I kind of miss the open end to support whomever. xD It seemed more mysterious for everyone. xDD But even at the high wind scene, like how can you deny Cloud and Tifa? D: That pretty much convinced me they both had feelings for each other. But then again if Aerith were still alive, I feel perhaps something more could've happened...;33 The game pretty much saved Cloud from being a two timer. 8l

But yes, I like CloTi and Zerith either way. >3<

Both pairings have their sides but Cloti and Zerith just makes sense, it'd be odd if Cloud never ever moved on from his feelings with Aerith after a few years.

Well, after all that happened, we know that Cloud likes Tifa (Highwind scene, also the fact that he does live with her in Advent children, and Tifa was his first love etc....)
And Tifa likes Cloud (if you don't know why, play FF7 again and the proofs are ALL OVER the places XD)

So Cloti is DEFINITELY official canon....



Another fact that I clearly know is that Aerith likes Cloud....even after her death, as a man, not as a friend.

Well, because of Official novel released by Square-enix, called "The maiden who travels the planet"

In the novel, Aerith meets many people who died in FF7 after her death.....and finally she meets Zack too, but the novel said Aerith knew that she loved Cloud even after her death and love she had toward Zack was changed to something else.


Which made me go......"D'awwwww" Because as much as I love Cloti (And I do love Cloti like A LOT!!! Cloti is my ULTIMATE OTP) I also love Zerith....

it was cloudxtifa because of zackxaertih. I hate aerith, but she was lovely when with zack.....and cloud was made less of w hiney bitch by tifa. They are well suited and I thought that they were a pair before I played ff7.....

I've always loved Clerith too in some way, but I think Zerith makes more sense in my mind. As does CloTi. That doesn't mean I'm gonna give up on any of those pairings, I'm just happy CloTi is "official" now. Cloud deserves happiness

Has the creators of final fantasy 7 officially announce that Cloti is the official "Canon" pairing?
I'm just wondering cause I don't want people going around thinking Cloti is "the offical" pairing of ff7 unless is it stated by the creators of ff7 themselves xDD sorry don't mean to piss off a bunch of you guys lol. Please don't yell at me Dx

@RikuLover: Yes it was made official through a special edition book/magazine celebrating 10 (20?) years of Final Fantasy that SE released in Japan and in it contained all the official canon pairings of Final Fantasy.

But did it quote the creators of final fantasy 7 actually "saying" cloud and tifa were the official "canon" couple of final fantasy 7?

Yes, i just said above that SE (Square Enix) officially made it a real canon pairing and announced through this book that it was. :P
